Thought I would make a little introduction of myself :U
My name is Rebecca, but I go by the nicknames Becca, Booder, Booderdooder, or any variant of those. I am eighteen years old and my birthday is November twenty-seventh. My likes include video games (The Legend of Zelda being my favorite series), animals (I love dogs, foxes, wolves, and deer specifically), food (potatoes, meat, and sweets), and art. My dislikes include dramatic people (I'm very laid-back), rude people (manners are so easily used), small infants (I don't know what to do with them and they're noisy), bugs, and people who abuse animals or children >:C there's no need for that ever.
I love drawing and have drawn for as long as I can remember. My dad was an artist that never pursued his dream, and so he passed on everything he knew about art to me so that I could make something of the talent. Now I am very confident in my work and feel comfortable with my style. I actually have a few varying styles, from realistic to cartoon, but I think my work is recognizable apart from others. My dream was to be a game designer, but currently I am looking for any justification that my art can earn me a living.
Along with art, I love video games. Video games have been my entire life, and they were my inspiration for my dream job. I love RPGs above any other genre, and the Legend of Zelda has been my inspiration for so much. I also really love horror games, like Amnesia, Dead Space, and smaller indie horror games. But, I'll more than likely watch other people play these games than play them myself.
I'm also insanely obsessed with nostalgia. I am the most nostalgic person I have ever met. I will spend days trying to find the name of an old movie I saw when I was like four and nearly bring myself to tears when I do find it. I hold onto things from my childhood and will probably never let them go as they have made me what I am now. That being said, I have a mental archive of old, mostly unheard of cartoons. I love cartoons so much and try to see every animated film I can, mostly old ones. I love anything Rankin Bass and he was my inspiration behind my early art styles.
I am just now starting to put my art "out there" with the hopes that I'll be able to start commissions at some point and make a living off of art early on. All I've ever wanted was to make a career out of art because people tell you artists never get very far. Art is my single greatest talent and it's what I want to focus on for the rest of my life. I really don't want to have to give up on this one dream I've had since I was a child, so I hope to get pretty popular here and make myself and a lot of other people happy through this talent of mine.
That pretty much covers all the simple things about me. If you have any questions, ask. I am a pretty open person, and really approachable.
